How to Show Leadership in College Applications Without a Title

Short answer: Show how and why you led.

Longer answer: A title is a word. There is nothing specific or differentiating in a title. If you led, coordinated, recruited, wrote, or assisted, write about it. But remember, how and why you led are far more interesting than just what you did. The traits you demonstrate are far more important than a check-the-box for leadership.
